Bread of LIfe

Feeding the hungry of Cumberland County is an ongoing effort that needs your support.

The mission includes a dining hall capable of seating up to 120 people and serves free meals to the hungry 365 days a year at no charge to them. All who come are welcome.

These efforts are supported by more than 60 local volunteer groups, who prepare, bring and serve the food.
The Medical Clinic is a free clinic that is staffed by volunteers, doctors, nurses and receptionists who volunteer their time for the twice–weekly free clinic. Stacy Carlton, Md., is the overall medical clinic administrator.

Persons with any type of medical problem, who have no insurance, are never charged a fee, but donations are accepted, and must register between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday and complete necessary paperwork before they are seen by a nurse and/or doctor.

Clinic hours are 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. on Mondays.
